Santorum attacks Fox News?

Well, in the category of “things that don’t actually help your campaign,” we now have this.

Rick Santorum attacked Fox News this morning for supporting Mitt Romney. Actually for “shilling” for him. Here ya go:

Rick Santorum accused Fox News of “shilling” for Mitt Romney during an interview with Fox’s Brian Kilmeade on Tuesday morning.

“The man has had a ten-to-one money advantage,” Santorum said of Romney on the radio show “Kilmeade & Friends.”

“He’s had all the organizational advantage. He has Fox News shilling for him every day — no offense, Brian, but I see it — and yet, he can’t seal the deal because he just doesn’t have the goods to be able to motivate the Republican base and win this election.”

I must say, I’m not sure what’s going on in Santorum’s head with this one. It just makes no sense, on so many levels.

Does this help him, or is this just a sign of frustration? I don’t get it.

Anyway, nothing profound to add, just an FYI for those who missed it.
