Paul Ryan: Deficit hawk? Really?

Pundit after pundit refers to Paul Ryan as a “fiscal conservative” and a “deficit hawk.”

Okay, but here’s the thing — the budget he proposed doesn’t balance until 2040.   To put this in perspective, the Olsen twins will be 54.

Deficit hawk?  Not so much.

When he starts talking about repealing the irresponsible Bush tax cuts… then maybe I’ll take him seriously.

Til then…  deficit hawk, my ass.

  1. Paul Ryan’s plan is a joke and only an unlearned idiot would vote for Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan

    • Robert Michael Broderick says:

Unfortunately the “unlearned idiots” are a large part of the percentage of voters that tip the scales in elections. What needs to happen is put truth and rational thought back in perspective on the public front and call a moronic idea for what it is without attacking the person who propses it.

  2. Couldn’t agree more………
